Meet Dr. Freilich
Dr. Marshall Freilich was born in Toronto, and received his Bachelor of Science degree from York University in 1987. He graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto in 1991, and then completed his general practice residency at the University of British Columbia. Following two years of general dental practice, Dr. Freilich pursued residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Dalhousie University, graduating with a Master of Science degree in 1998. He then completed a surgical fellowship at the University of Toronto. In 2023 Dr. Freilich completed a second Master of Science degree in the field of Oral Medicine and Orofacial Pain at the University of Southern California.
Dr. Freilich has been a board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, and Fellow of The Royal College of Dentists of Canada, since 1999. He is a Fellow of the International Team for Implantology (ITI), Member of the International Workgroup for the AMSJI (Additively Manufactured Subperiosteal Jaw Implant) protocol, Canadian Councillor for the International College for Maxillo-Facial Surgery, Past-President of the Ontario Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Clinical Instructor at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto, and holds staff privileges at Humber River Hospital.

Freilich Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery was established in 2000. We are located in the heart of Toronto, near the intersection of Yonge Street and St. Clair Avenue. We are accessible by either car or TTC, with ample underground parking in our building. Dr. Marshall Freilich is a board-certified specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, has over twenty years of experience and expertise in performing procedures including removal of wisdom teeth, simple and complex dental implant surgeries, both immediate and staged, advanced bone grafting. He holds a Master of Science degree in Oral Medicine and Orofacial Pain. We offer novel solutions for implant reconstruction for patients with severe bone deficiency. Our boutique style practice allows us to provide highly customized. personalized care. Dr. Freilich also provides treatment for oral lesions and pathology, burning mouth syndrome, temporomandibular disorders, hyposalivation (“dry mouth”) and orofacial pain. We offer the full range of sedation and anaesthesia, including general (“asleep”) anaesthesia. Our staff includes highly trained administrative professionals, dental assistants, registered nurses and board certified physician anaesthesiologists. We look forward to meeting you!
