Meet Dr. Citron

Dr. Shane T. Citron, B.Sc., D.D.S., M.D., F.R.C.D.(C)

Dr. Shane T. Citron was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. He is a Board-certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon who received his Bachelor of Science degree in human biology from the University of Toronto and Doctorate in Dental Surgery degree from Case Western Reserve University. He completed his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgical residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, while obtaining a Medical Degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.

He belongs to a number of organizations:

Dr. Citron is the former Chairman of the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Detroit Mercy-School of Dentistry. He is a Course Co-Coordinator and Clinical Demonstrator in the Discipline of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Toronto - Faculty of Dentistry, and is currently licensed to practice medicine in Michigan and Florida.

Dr. Citron relocated and entered full time private practice in Toronto in 2005.
