Background Information

Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. As oral and maxillofacial surgeons, our surgeons manage a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. Our surgeons practice a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental implant surgery and wisdom tooth removal to periodontal surgery. This also includes techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort. We can also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries, and fractures.

Our staff is trained in assisting with Intravenous (IV) sedation or outpatient general anesthesia in our state-of-the-art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery.

Surgical Staff

The surgical staff at Freilich & Associates Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons includes experienced Registered Nurses (RN’s), who assist in the administration of intravenous sedation and anesthesia, as well as in your supervision throughout your post-anesthetic recovery in our office. Our experienced Surgical Assistants assist our surgeons throughout your procedure. A treatment coordinator will ensure a smooth transition from your consultation to the front desk staff. Your office administrative needs are cared for by our front desk team, which includes our office manager and receptionist. All of our staff are knowledgeable regarding clinic administration, are well-versed in health and insurance policies, and are CPR certified.
